New CD! New Year! New Show?

Starfish + Coffee LIVE, Jasper’s latest CD release, is available now at cdbaby.com and iTunes, as well as from select retailers such as Barnes & Noble, Footlight and Colony Music in New York City.  The CD was launched at an intimate yet vivacious release party and concert at the Laurie Beechman Theater where it was recorded last winter.  A super-eclectic, soulful selection of songs that span 50 years of music, Starfish + Coffee LIVE was inspired by Jasper’s habit of playing songs from his favorite artists and CDs for friends – for hours on end. This is music that entertains, inspires and arouses! From Sylvia Syms to The Smiths and from Mr. Rogers to Jill Scott, it really gives you a taste of not only Jasper's taste in music, but his flexibility as an artist as well.

Each year, instead of making resolutions, Jasper selects a one-word theme that summarizes his goals and aspirations for the new year.  This year the word is REFRESH.  From making small changes each day to taking on new challenges – the goal is to find fresh ways to think, feel and act that help breathe new life into LIFE!

Rumor has it that one important way Jasper will be ‘refreshing’ this year is to create a brand new show with Director Lisa Asher along with Musical Director Ray Fellman!  If Asher and Fellman aren’t ‘fresh’ – I’m not sure who is!  Stay tuned for more information on the new shows - expected in late Spring.
